By accessing or using PrimeCare EMR (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). The Service is operated by Prime Medical Group ("PMG," "we," "us," or "our") for authorized clinical and administrative use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
PrimeCare EMR is a custom electronic medical record application developed for PMG by Rodney Chery, Software Engineer (rodneyachery.com). Mr. Chery designs and builds production-ready web systems using ASP.NET Core, C#, Microsoft SQL Server, and secure cloud deployment practices (including Azure), with an emphasis on documented APIs, HTTPS, and maintainable architecture.
PMG is responsible for organizational policies, user provisioning, clinical governance, and compliance with health care laws. Authorized users are PMG clinicians, staff, and contractors granted access. Technical platform work (features, deployments, integrations) is performed under PMG's direction in line with the scoped development practices described on the developer's portfolio site: discovery, approved design, iterative build, and documented launch.
PrimeCare EMR is a cloud-oriented practice platform that supports patient search and charts, clinical documentation, scheduling, and standards-based interoperability (including FHIR R4 where configured). Sign-in may use Microsoft Entra ID (or approved development authentication in non-production environments). The Service is intended to solve operational problems for PMG—not to replace licensed clinical judgment.
Core technical characteristics include:
Access is limited to individuals authorized by PMG. You must use organization-issued credentials, enable multi-factor authentication when required, and keep login details confidential. You may not share accounts, attempt unauthorized access, or use the Service outside your assigned role.
You agree not to:
The Service may store and process PHI. Users must follow HIPAA, applicable state privacy laws, and PMG policies. PMG maintains administrative, physical, and technical safeguards appropriate to its operations. The Service supports documentation and workflows; it does not provide medical advice. Providers remain solely responsible for diagnosis, treatment decisions, and accurate charting.
Clinical and account support is provided by PMG through its designated help channels. Application support (defects, enhancements, deployments) is coordinated by PMG with its development partner using documented, production-ready practices: clear communication, written scope for material changes, and secure release processes (including CI/CD and cloud hosting where applicable).
PMG may schedule maintenance, updates, or emergency patches. We strive for reliable operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned downtime should be communicated when practicable.
The Service may depend on third parties (e.g., Microsoft identity services, cloud hosts, FHIR servers, database providers). Those services are subject to their own terms and availability. PMG selects and configures integrations; users must not misuse third-party credentials or data obtained through the Service.
PMG and its licensors retain rights in the Service, PMG branding, clinical content policies, and organization-specific configuration. Custom software developed for PMG is used under PMG's license and direction. You receive a limited, revocable right to use the Service solely for authorized PMG work. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the platform except as expressly permitted by PMG.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PMG DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. NO ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION FROM PMG, ITS DEVELOPER, OR SUPPORT CONTACTS CREATES A WARRANTY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PMG AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS (INCLUDING PLATFORM DEVELOPERS ACTING ON PMG'S BEHALF) WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE. DIRECT DAMAGES ARE LIMITED TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW AND PMG'S AGREEMENTS WITH USERS.
PMG may suspend or revoke access for policy violations, security concerns, or end of employment or affiliation. Upon termination, you must stop using the Service and handle PMG materials per organizational policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to PMG's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where federal health care law applies. Disputes shall be handled in the forums required by law or PMG policy.
PMG may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or other reasonable means. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance unless you are required to re-acknowledge.
